DL-Malic Acid
Malic acid is an organic compound with C4H6O5 molecular formula. It is a dicarboxylic acid made by all living organisms, contributes to the pleasant sour taste of fruits, and is used as a food additive. Malic acid has two forms of stereoisomer (L- and D-enantiomer), although only natural L-isomers exist.
